I went out to water the yard this morning and while I was watering it began to rain. I got soaked, but I didn't even try to get out of the rain. It felt good to feel the rain on my skin and to see God's creation around me drinking it in. When I decided the neighbors may be coming out to check if I'd lost my mind, I retreated to the garage. I opened the door and sat there in one of our "garage sale" chairs and enjoyed the peacefulness around me. A hummingbird came into the garage and flew around and left. Isn't God amazing? Randy and Jeremy had gone early this morning to play golf. The rain didn't reach them so they got to finish the whole course. I'm always glad when they get to spend some time together. I know Randy cherishes his friendship just as Trav did.
I've been walking all week on the treadmill. In the last 5 days I've accumulated 3 miles. I know that sounds pitiful to some of you, but I'm starting at a very different place than most of you.
