Long Time, No See

 Can’t believe the seventeenth anniversary of Trav’s passing is creeping up on us! 

        We talk about them, not because we’re stuck 

        or because we haven’t moved on, 

        but we talk about them because we are theirs, and they are ours, 

        and no passage of time will ever change that.

Seems many people have stopped speaking of Trav as frequently as in the past. Lives are so active and families are busy trying to maintain their schedules and responsibilities. Understandable.

Your legacy of kindness, laughter, and compassion for others will never be erased, Travis. Love and miss you throughout every day. You’re alive in my heart. ❤️ Mom
