I've not written on my blog in over a month. I've had a difficult month with my depression. I'm bad about isolating myself and not communicating when I'm at my lowest. I feel like I've neglected all of you by not keeping in touch. You've all been so supportive to Randy and I.
We recently attended a business conference in Ft. Worth to look at some equipment for Oxford. We purchased several items that will help us be more productive and have a variety of options for our printing. It's scary to spend big bucks on equipment, but the business cannot compete with the market if we don't stay updated.
Jess tells me that everything's going ok in El Dorado. She sent me some bright yellow mums that are very cheerful. I miss Andy and Jess since they were here for two months. It's really quiet.
School has been very hectic. My new co-worker, Benita, is good with the kids and easy to communicate with about our activities. It will take her a while to get accustomed to the way things are done at our school, but it's been a comfortable beginning. We also have a new principal and many new staff members. There are adjustments all around.
Randy got to go to the first SOUTHWEST CLASSIC game last night in TX. One of the salesmen was able to get two tickets and he really enjoyed it. He said the stadium was amazing. I watched the game at home.
I haven't been able to make myself go out to the cemetery since I put the flowers there in July. I've got to go back and check on things and remove the old arrangement. My heart is aching constantly to hear Trav's voice and laughter. I want a big hug and be able to sit and talk about everything. I know, I'm a basket case. Sorry.
I agreed to make some phone calls for Hospice this coming week. I hope that doing something new will take my mind off of how I'm feeling. I may have to go see my doctor soon and find out if some changes need to be made.
Randy and I missed Levi's first birthday party. We haven't seen any of the kids in a few weeks. It's been mostly work, work, work. I leave school and go to Oxford. We have a system in place that seems to be working pretty well. Things will really get busy when the new equipment arrives and we have to do some moving around and wiring to accommodate everything.
I think being at Oxford has helped Randy to feel supported and he's moving forward with all of the business separation details. We've still not gotten everything divided legally, but it seems to be getting closer.
I guess if I'd write more frequently I wouldn't have to ramble so long. I haven't been up to it lately. Love you guys. Keep in touch.
